The CASA River Century is easily accessible from Northern Virginia, Washington D.C,
Maryland, and Pennsylvania; and many riders come for an “early season” practice
ride or to train for another event. The Panhandle in West Virginia is a great place
to ride, and is a blend of small towns and cities, and rolling hillside. It’s a
beautiful area, and we welcome everyone!
CASA River Century registration will take place at the Shepherd Wellness Center
on Friday evening on West Campus Drive at Shepherd University, Shepherdstown, WV.
See map below, the Butcher Center and Wellness Center are located together.
Saturday, May 19: registration and packet pick up, as well as start/finish will
be located at the Butcher Center at West Campus Drive at Shepherd University.
Signage and greeters will be available to help you find registration on either day.
The start and finish areas are located next to the Butcher Center, and will be well-marked.
The Butcher Center and Wellness Center are located on West Campus Drive at Shepherd
University, Shepherdstown, West Virginia, and the buildings are located together.

Please be aware of construction at Shepherd University on Route 480 due to the student
pedestrian tunnel, and of detour construction and routing. CASA River Century will
be posting updates, if needed, via registered rider email the day prior to the event,
to the "News" section, and to Facebook about changes impacting directions or cyclists.
Routes have been finalized, we do not anticipate any changes to routes.

Follow Interstate 81 to Martinsburg, West Virginia, and take Exit 16 East (Route
9 East) into Martinsburg. Turn left onto Route 45 East, and follow Route 45 into
Shepherdstown. Turn left into Shepherd University, immediately past the BB&T bank
and across from Sheetz Gas Station. Follow signage for CASA River Century.
From the West
Follow Interstate 70 East to Hagerstown, Maryland. In Hagerstown follow Interstate
81 South to Martinsburg, West Virginia, and take Exit 16 East (Route 9 East) into
Martinsburg. Turn left onto Route 45 East, and follow Route 45 into Shepherdstown.
Turn left into Shepherd University on University Drive, immediately past BB&T Bank
and across the street from Sheetz gas station.Follow signage for CASA River Century.
From the East
Follow Interstate 70 or 270 West from Baltimore, Maryland or Washington, D.C., to
Frederick, Maryland, and take Exit 49 (alternate Route 40 West). Follow Alternate
Route 40 through Middletown to Boonsboro, Maryland. In Boonsboro turn left onto
Route 34, and follow Route 34 through Sharpsburg across the Potomac River into Shepherdstown.
Turn right at the 4-way stop. Approx 1/8 of a mile, turn right into Shepherd University,
across the street from Sheetz gas station, and before reaching BB&T. Follow signage
to CASA River Century.
